Roadmap

This is to show planned and implemented features and known bugs/quirks

Implemented Features

  • Reading a Lua script

  • Getting a class

  • Editing a class' default values

    • Recursive edition. Meaning it edits the value in all child classes too

  • Getting a class' default component

  • Editing a component’s values

Planned Features

  • Addition and removal of default components

  • Addition of procedurally generated content. For example, Mk2 machines and equipments

  • Possibility of running certain scripts at certain moments, including by commands

Known bugs

  • Recursive default value edition cannot take in account the value being edited. That means that you cannot, for example, halve the cost of all recipes, you can only set a static price for all of them

  • Getting a class can be somewhat random, editing values can take effect too late. That will be fixed with the next SML release

  • Currently, editing the class' default value means it changes the default object of that class. That is not enough as it doesn’t change any existing objects. That means that, for example, if you change the constructor’s default manufacturing speed, any previously place constructor won’t have that change. ATTENTION : I’m not 100% sure of that statement, it is to be verified
